I took a picture of it because I remembered seeing a US Navy "FUTURE" map of the FUTURE(from before 2000, I think)along with Edgar Cayce and a couple other similar "future" maps. It is creepy how comparable these maps are to the map on my local news station with a picture of the flash flood warnings. I hadn't heard about that...is it from the rains in Arkansas or has Texas had a lot more rain than I thought? I get most of my news from GLP, to be honest...but usually hear about Texas stuff on the local news. Granted, Memphis will be gone...but the scaling of the third map is wrong. Also, Mississippi is not high ground, but no way floods make it to Tupelo...most the excess water would end up in the delta and no farther east than Batesville. |
