"Emissions of greenhouse gases from human activities are changing the atmosphere in ways that affect the Earth's climate. Greenhouse gases include carbon dioxide as well as methane, nitrous oxide and other gases. They are emitted from fossil fuel combustion and a range of industrial and agricultural processes.
The evidence is incontrovertible: Global warming is occurring.
If no mitigating actions are taken, significant disruptions in the Earth’s physical and ecological systems, social systems, security and human health are likely to occur. We must reduce emissions of greenhouse gases beginning now."

"The Earth's climate is now clearly out of balance and is warming. Many components of the climate system—including the temperatures of the atmosphere, land and ocean, the extent of sea ice and mountain glaciers, the sea level, the distribution of precipitation, and the length of seasons—are now changing at rates and in patterns that are not natural and are best explained by the increased atmospheric abundances of greenhouse gases and aerosols generated by human activity during the 20th century. Global average surface temperatures increased on average by about 0.6°C over the period 1956–2006. As of 2006, eleven of the previous twelve years were warmer than any others since 1850. The observed rapid retreat of Arctic sea ice is expected to continue and lead to the disappearance of summertime ice within this century. Evidence from most oceans and all continents except Antarctica shows warming attributable to human activities. Recent changes in many physical and biological systems are linked with this regional climate change. A sustained research effort, involving many AGU members and summarized in the 2007 assessments of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, continues to improve our scientific understanding of the climate."

"And if increases in atmospheric CO2 are the primary cause of warming, why, from the 1940's through the mid 1970's, was the earth cooling when increases in our use of fossil fuels were at their greatest?

And why is it that Mars and Jupiter, and Neptune's moon Titan, have all followed the exact same warming and cooling cycles as the earth during the 20th century?  Does anyone think that our SUVs and power plants are causing the same climate change on other planets and moons in our solar system, or is it more likely that the changes there were caused by the fact that we're all in the same solar system?  I.e., "It's the sun, stupid!"

A British glaciologist who has been studying the Petermann Glacier in north-west Greenland, which is over 300km long and makes up 6% of the Greenland ice sheet, described pictures showing how fast it had melted as “gob-smacking.”

I personally have witnessed the dramatic change in the glaciers in Alaska myself. . . In just five years the land based glaciers receded hundreds of yards. . .

I don't know the reasons. . . But I know it is really happening. . . So what is the reaction to such events . . .????? . . .

Looking at the chart and seeing one of the theories as
'population control' is ridiculous. For years I've always seen MANY pregnant woman and newborns around here. I have thought I've seen what looked like chemtrails... and see/hear planes at random times fly over this area. Some days nothing... Other days, they go nuts...see several Xs in the sky

Hmmmmmm . . . Reducing the number of offspring by reducing fertility is the best strategy. . . Not eliminating all new births. . . You need a certain number of young people to maintain your society no matter how small that society becomes. . . Other methods could be limiting life span, increasing death rates and selective breeding. . . .creating mass death through exposing a population to a lethal infectious agents is way too dangerous and you could become a victim yourself. . . .not very smart. . . .

My personal choices are #1 &#4. . . .

I would say manipulating the weather would be my first guess, and slowing global warming... e.

I know TPTB need ppl to continue reproducing to work to make the TPTB richer. I've chosen not to have children myself. I am trying to escape this matrix. I wish I could be like one of these ppl on GLP that are at peace and love their life.

Hmmmmm a very significant personal decision. . . . I was unable to have children. . . . Would have loved to have had some. . . Me thinks every generation of humans has had their problems and challenges. . . .this is just another phase of experience. . . . Each generation needs its chance to thrive or fail . . . The next generation may be the one that saves the day and turns the tide. . . .why not give them the chance. . . If our parents had thrown in the towel we wouldn't have had a chance to change anything and I think we have . . . We may be the first generation to wake up and embrace a new and more true reality. . . That is important!!!! . . .

Is it possible they are telegraphing something they are already engaged in. . . Is this a subtle way to inform the public. . ????  Don't be shocked if they tell us eventually because of the desire to prevent the dislocation of 600 million people they have been engaged in geoengineering testing and operations since 1990. . . And using aerosol injection at altitude for a long time. . . .
