Yes George..Western NY..Why they call this area Upstate is beyond me,but they do..Listen up George,the whole world is in chaos..They have stopped Chemtrailing this area,Not even one episode in 6 months!..The purpose of Chemtrails is to control the weather,by dimming the Sun..They know what they are doing George..There is a direct correlation of this being the hottest,driest Summer and the absence of Chemtrails..
The Earth is warming real fast and the PTB know it,I hate to say this but maybe Chemtrailing was not a bad idea,however the stuff they use are poisons!!..For some reason they have stopped,and by doing so,this has led to severe droughts and crop failures..Is this what they want??..To create a food shortage??..Remember,many Country's depend on our food exports,if they cant get it there will be food riots overseas..Not good..
That coupled with the explosive situation in the mid-east,spells disaster!..

I came upon this study and find it interesting . . . the research indicates that Cirrus Cloud reductions (through a type of high tropospheric cloud seeding) could result in slowing global warming and that commercial aviation could be the easiest and cheapest way to accomplish such geoengineering without much of the side effects of sulfur injection for example . . . the amount of cloud seeding material would be small in comparison to the sulfur injected into the stratosphere . . .

Abstract. Greenhouse gases and cirrus clouds regulate outgoing longwave radiation (OLR) and cirrus cloud coverage is predicted to be sensitive to the ice fall speed which depends on ice crystal size. The higher the cirrus, the greater their impact is on OLR. Thus by changing ice crystal size in the coldest cirrus, OLR and climate might be modified. Fortunately the coldest cirrus have the highest ice supersaturation due to the dominance of homogeneous freezing nucleation. Seeding such cirrus with very efficient heterogeneous ice nuclei should produce larger ice crystals due to vapor competition effects, thus increasing OLR and surface cooling. Preliminary estimates of this global net cloud forcing are more negative than–2.8 W m–2 and could neutralize the radiative forcing due to a CO2 doubling (3.7 W m–2). A potential delivery mechanism for the seeding material is already in place: the airline industry. Since seeding aerosol residence times in the troposphere are relatively short, the climate might return to its normal state within months after stopping the geoengineering experiment. The main known drawback to this approach is that it would not stop ocean acidification. It does not have many of the drawbacks that stratospheric injection of sulfur species has.

Thanks for the new post, George. Glad to see you back. The spraying of chem trails is getting worse in my area. Going out of town tomorrow and sure that it's going to be just as bad where I'm headed. Kinda comparing the locations now.

Would like to understand more about the affects on the acidification of the oceans. I need a re read.

Ocean acidification is the name given to the ongoing decrease in the pH of the Earth's oceans, caused by the uptake of anthropogenic carbon dioxide (CO2) from the atmosphere.[1] About 30-40% of the carbon dioxide released by humans into the atmosphere dissolves into the oceans, rivers and lakes [2][3]. To maintain chemical equilibrium, some of it reacts with the water to form carbonic acid. Some of these extra carbonic acid molecules split up to give a carbonate ion and two hydrogen ions, thus increasing the ocean’s "acidity" (H+ ion concentration). This increasing acidity is thought to have a range of direct undesirable consequences such as depressing metabolic rates in jumbo squid[4] and depressing the immune responses of blue mussels[5]. (These chemical reactions also happen in the atmosphere, and as about 20% of anthropogenic CO2 emissions are absorbed by the terrestrial biosphere[3], also in the ground soils between absorbed CO2 and soil moisture. Thus anthropogenic CO2 emissions to the atmosphere can increase the acidity of land, sea and air.)

I have not kept it a secret that I think most if not all persistent trails we see in the sky are persistent exhaust from aviation not a covert aerosol injection project . . . however, I do understand how people can feel differently . . .

1) I agree the government should be watched . . . that they are capable of doing some stupid things in secret which they thought were expedient at the time . . .

The events which brought chemtrails to the public may have been a mistake; however, it retains traction for some reason . . . one of the reasons is a distrust of "Them" what are in charge . . .

Another reason is the lack of progress in the mitigation of persistent contrails and cirrus cloud banks . . . I suggest a rational policy would be . . . make progress in that direction as soon as possible for several logical reasons . . . one of which is to remove suspicion from the government and aviation in general . . .

2) One reason I think a massive covert program doesn't exists managed by the aviation industry is . . . if I were trying to remain secret, I would not call attention to my self by spraying visible persistent trails all over the skies . . . and usually near the highest density population centers at that . . . a guarantee I would be discovered. . .

But still, believing it..and claiming it to be fact while arguing against those who are only pointing out that it ISN'T a fact, are two completely different things.

Chemtrails have been around since the conception of jet engines, so I don't see any way any of these theories hold water.

Keith and some of his colleagues recently hired engineers to estimate how much one approach to sulfate injection might work, and how much it might cost. It could be done at first with existing airplanes—certain business jets can fly high enough to inject the particles into the upper atmosphere. Eventually we would need new planes that can fly higher. All in all, once the procedure is scaled up it would cost about a billion dollars a year and require about 100 aircraft. That’s cheap enough for most countries to pull off on their own.

2 Geoengineering Concept of Operations
This study focuses on airplane and airship operations to the stratosphere to release a geoengineering payload with the goal of reducing incoming solar flux. Airships are also considered for this mission. To provide a comparison to conventional aircraft opera- tions, more exotic concepts such as rockets, guns, and suspended pipes are also ex- amined.

For maximum cooling impact, the particulate payloads are best placed near the equator. This study assumes that the payload is released within latitudes 30°N and 30°S, though North-South basing location had minimal effect on cost. Transit operations, flying East- West between equally spaced bases around the equator, were examined as a method to ensure adequate dispersal of the payload around the equator. Global winds aid in East-West dispersal so a smaller number of bases and shorter range systems (referred to as Regional operations) can be employed with minimal impact on dispersal. Region- al operations allow the dispersal leg length to be dictated by the desired release rate of 0.03kg/m flown. This means the airplanes fly no further than they have to, on the order of 300-800 km, and fuel costs are minimized. Transit operations are not economical as the leg length is dictated by the distance between bases (for 8-base operations, legs are approximately 5,000 km) causing release rates to be low and fuel costs to be high.

A comparison of regional and transit operations utilizing Boeing 747s (at its service ceiling of 45,000 feet) is as follows:

They were spraying chemtrails today in northern Vt.
It was already very cloudy. Wonder why chemtrails are being sprayed before the storm? None of it makes sense.

I was surprised to see the chemtrails today though.

The air in front of major storm fronts are usually full of moisture at high altitudes . . .so almost anything that flies above 30,000 feet will leave a trail . . . whether it contains foreign substances or not . . .

Some of the chemtrails started out like the black line trails and then spread out.

By-the-way when was the last time you went to NC???

I was in NC in May for my daughters graduation from Grad school. She moved to Texas and found a decent job there at one of the Universities.
