You know I'm still a little up in the air (no pun intented) on this issue, but there is no doubt the number of persistant contrails have increased dramatically since I was a kid. We used to never see the type of haze that now develops, seemingly almost every other day here.
I was watching a VHS video we took of a cattle branding at our ranch in the Texas Panhandle back in 1985, we were having it transfered to DVD, and it's amazing how much bluer the sky was back then...now it's hazy white at the horizon, back then it was blue all the way down to the horizon...
Something has changed, that's for sure...
