Trying hard not to believe that someone that high up would want to hurt the US that bad, just in denial I guess. Just don't want to believe. I still love my country and still believe in the principles it was founded upon.

I was a bit leery of the Obama mania that swept over the US during the election. Somehow I had a certain measure of mistrust for him. I couldn't put a finger on it. I never gave it much thought again since I am Canadian. But then, the night when he announced the bin laden kill, he gave me a chill. There was something chilling in his demeanor and he had a really cold stare.

We don't even need a president obviously...

Maybe you can help me understand this. Everybody is going around calling those asking the man to follow the law over his birth certificate. I don't think you could get a job as a janitor with the gov't with the ID he's released..let alone run for office. Its not asking that much for him to verify his credentials. That would be NORMAL.

But..besides that. Wouldn't you be even a little suspicious if..a man..any man--had several aliases (generally thats left to criminals); can't verify his whereabouts; where he lived his life--nor produce viable credentials for his education? Then..to top it off..wouldn't you think..clear admissions in books he wrote..should count for something? Maybe any one of these things might be..overlooked but..don't you think thats kind of a lot? Would you let someone that dicey--move in and take over your household?

"Birthers" aren't being unreasonable or contentious..though its being painted to look that way. This has to do with good sense--not contention.

Labels like birther/truther/flip-flopper whatever are designed to sound negative, and when people get thrown under that label, it leaves them pretty isolated (distance oneself from it), and when isolated (divided) like this leaves them open for attack. Fair game.

They will keep coming up with these idiotic labels, but it's really just following an old patter or M.O., divide em, isolate em, watch their own tear them to pieces, and perhaps cheering during the entire process.
