CGI? I understand how to make video look old - how did they do the grey? ******* My belief and i'm not saying i'm correct is that this is a very well done hoax. The only part that's computer enhanced is the old scratchy, grainy quality. The rest is a very well made animatronic head in combination with a large puppeteered suit and extended hand/finger prosthetics/machanics. Look at the way the eyes blink, if you know how an under skeleton of a mask is created, you can see the eye lids don't move naturally. The servos that control them are stiff, also there's no movement in the mouth or anything. The neck is where some of the unnatural movements can be seen, probably the puppeteers arm or armature going through? Another thing that leads me to believe it's a puppet is if you look close at where the legs join the torso it looks like a seam of some kind? The narrator also says how realistic the skin looks but that can also be created with the new latex and gelatin products. So when i say it's not real i'm not saying i don't believe in aliens because i do, but i think if a person has A LOT of money, talent and time they can create something like this. It's still very cool though and the people who made it are true artists. It should really make everyone think...what if? |
