Mushrooms for the first time- subtly and beautifully life changing. Really effin amazing
I feel like going on and on about how incredible it was, it was like a imposingly gentle encompassing. A soft path opened up by a powerful hand showing me a tiny fingernail of the fantastic energy that's being conducted and created everywhere and how good and right exciting it feels to be but a speck in it!
Anyway, it's been 2 weeks and it's still taking me into really interesting avenues. Like Terence Mckenna. Holy spit! That guy is heavy duty! I want to know people like that.
Here's something he wrote that truly struck me right in the beaner -

Acceleration is visible in all the processes around us: the fact that fire was discovered several million years ago; language came perhaps thirty-five thousand years ago; measurement, five thousand; Galileo, four hundred; then Watson-Crick and DNA. What is obviously happening is that everything is being drawn together. On the other hand, the description our physicists are giving us of the universe - that it has lasted billions of years and will last billions of years into the future - is a dualistic conception, an inductive projection that is very unsophisticated when applied to the nature of consciousness and language. Consciousness is somehow able to collapse the state vector and thereby cause the stuff of being to undergo what Alfred North Whitehead called "the formality of actually occurring." Here is the beginning of an understanding of the centrality of human beings. Western societies have been on a decentralizing bender for five hundred years, concluding that the Earth is not the center of the universe and man is not the beloved of God. -

He writes mainly of DMT and his theories and experiences on it, which are totally fascinating in themselves, but it wouldn't be cool if a mushroom turnoff stopped anyone from reading Mckenna.
Thanks for reading!

Level 1

This level produces a mild "stoning" effect, with some visual enhancement (i.e. brighter colours, etcetera). Some short term memory anomalies. Left/right brain communication changes causing music to sound "wider".

Level 2

Bright colors, and visuals (i.e. things start to move and breathe), some 2 dimensional patterns become apparent upon shutting eyes. Confused or reminiscent thoughts. Change of short term memory leads to continual distractive thought patterns. Vast increase in creativity becomes apparent as the natural brain filter is bypassed.

Level 3

Very obvious visuals, everything looking curved and/or warped patterns and kaleidoscopes seen on walls, faces etc. Some mild hallucinations such as rivers flowing in wood grained or "mother of pearl" surfaces. Closed eye hallucinations become 3 dimensional. There is some confusion of the senses (i.e. seeing sounds as colors, etcetera). Time distortions and "moments of eternity".

Level 4

Strong hallucinations, i.e. objects morphing into other objects. Destruction or multiple splitting of the ego. (Things start talking to you, or you find that you are feeling contradictory things simultaneously). Some loss of reality. Time becomes meaningless. Out of body experiences and e.s.p. type phenomena. Blending of the senses.

Level 5

Total loss of visual connection with reality. The senses cease to function in the normal way. Total loss of ego. Merging with space, other objects, or the universe. The loss of reality becomes so severe that it defies explanation. The earlier levels are relatively easy to explain in terms of measureable changes in perception and thought patterns. This level is different in that the actual universe within which things are normally perceived, ceases to exist! Satori enlightenment (and other such labels).

yep, the good drugs are so incredible

why do you think they're banned? in an effort to keep them from us obv.

my fave was still LSD-25, fond fond memories... until the bad trips started.

haven't seen a tab of acid in 25 years now, my god, such a goddamn shame. can it really be 25 years since the mid-80's.

tune in, turn on, blink and 25 years go by

there were others there to begin with...long story short eventually i made my way upstairs....it was fun i kept flying through like the tool eyes all purple an yellow but as like dna strands and id get so comfortable with the feeling that id think i wouldnt mind if i stayed there forever it felt like what happens when you die kinda or like at least a connection to it...but then i would think about other people if i was gone and everything would rush back normal and id be sober for a second and be like WTF? and it would wave back into the spacey tool eye place haha

LOL! Ok...I appreciate it. I'm really not afraid of much and I have had some lucid dreams that felt like I was tripping. The kind that I cannot immediately shake upon waking.

I just wanna feel like I'm alive and headed towards something meaningful. I need a vision quest like the ancient spirits.

The first time I took Liberty caps was with a friend. We picked 1200 with no idea how many to take.. We had half each :)

All I can say is everything is everything if that makes sense? Trust me It makes sense after 600 mushies.. We are all one.. Definite level 5 shit.. I remember how disappointing it was to realise that I am human and live under human constraints when I started to come down.. Waaaa, I want to break free!!

I do appreciate the sharing. I have eaten a few but nothing state altering happened as a result. I have dabbled (OMFG! what an understatement) in some other things that brought about some incredibly lucid and deep, meaningful thoughts. Thought that I wrote in my journal feverishly while under the influence. And when i had come down, I realized that what I had written was indeed a product of an inner, unchained, genius which we all possess.

I tackled anti-gravity in an altered state when I was in my teens. Guess what? ...the videos describing these same concepts are everywhere.

this is my first post here...

here goes..'''

First of all Mushroom made us the way we are.

Back in the days mushrooms where as big as threes are today. Mushroom is all around us u litteraly breathe it in on a daly basis - some are "harmfull" others are what they are- they travel with the cosmic winds - first organisms on earth. Dont take my word for it - theese aliens are gateways / Portals - This is well known in indigenus traditional medicine.

THere is also a spore bank - im part of that. To give folks free spores.. there are so many different mushrooms all with different chemistry : some are almost impossible to grow. thats beside my point - Seek and you shall find ;)

The sporebank works this way : you pay for stamp - Grow for urself and send 10 spores to others - Flow! ;)

I have also tryed ayahuasca/Yage _many_ times - and work with shamans from many parts of the world ... I would recomend a trip to the Amazon .. In Colombia there is a magic place :Sibundoy Valley Putumayo .. they have so many exelent shamans there and are not affected by the Tourism mashine as Peru and brazil .. good and strong mushrooms there to (bonus") besides the fantastic Ayahuasca/Yage brew they make there with looong traditions!! ;)

Chek out IBOGA too... there is a good documentary about it called rite of passage (LunArt productions)

Google "6 ways mushrooms can save the earth." TED TALKS

also google:
DR. Robert Melamedy - Cannabinoids -

RALPH METZNER ...Vestern pioneer.....

Jack Herrer 100 000 Dollar Challenge.. ect -

The old ways is the right way - back to mother nature with the best of Hightech Thats my vision - when we can travel with the cosmic winds -- thats where we are headed folks.. enjoy the ride - bee good - be coool - love urself - Reprogram urself ALL the tools are right in front of you :))

doing mushrooms on ur own is good - doing it with a skilled shaman who let the light work trough him in a Ceremony "X1000" say goodbye "badtrips" and become REborn..

i dont get how you guys could enjoy something like this and actually give it validation. Its nothing but a drug induced hallucination.

Obviously, you cannot function in everyday life while on this trip and you need someone to watch over you to care for you lest you jump off a building in an attempt to fly.

What happens to your heart rate? Respiration? Seems ridiculous to me- but I am no judge.

I went over to my neighbors one evening to say hi. They have 2 dogs. When I walked in Ed looked at me and said "notice how the dogs nod in agreement to each other as they pass". And I thought, whoa- I need some of that!

It was shrooms. And no, there was none for me.

Great story OP. I'm happy for you. I wonve ate 6 ounces within a month of golden teachers while in a Masonis Temple. I'm SERIOUS. Things happened that most people couldn't believe. It instantly changed my life. I ate a half ounce on July 2 , 2007 and many morevthrought that month. I recall eating over 50 grams one night believe it or not. I would love to tell you more so just ask if your interested in more details.

I couldn’t figure out whether the mushroom is the alien or the mushroom is some kind of technological artifact allowing me to hear the alien when the alien is actually light-years away, using some kind of Bell nonlocality principle to communicate. The mushroom states its own position very clearly. It says, ‘I require the nervous system of a mammal. Do you have one handy?’- Terence McKena
