Underground fire burning in Coastal Georgia. | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 1203482 United States 05/14/2011 08:29 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This is a local news story I saw (for me its local). I had no idea there could be a peatmoss fire here. Its been so smokey and I knew a fire was a few miles off but good grief, they said its 20 feet UNDERGROUND and unfightable. They just have to let it burn itself out. WEIRD. Just wanted to share a weird fire news with you. Quoting: Fringey(the video has more info than the article.) [link to www.wtoc.com] I know peeps in Ludowici - they are all gay. |

And yeah, about those bombing ranges rumblings. I've lived here for 7 years and never heard and felt them here like I have in the past couple months. |

I hope the rains put them out...can you imagine if they create big RED HOT SINK HOLES???? eeeewwwwwww..... And Im still wondering where the peat moss is and how it caught fire. I have never heard of peat moss anywhere around here. I thought that was either down on the Florida boarder or in Scotland. |

As far as 3rd ID, unless they've changed in the last 2 years, their ranges (rainclouds 1-7) fire from the north side of 144 north towards sw chatham county. But there weren't any bombings from aircraft, just 120mm and smaller from m1a1's, bradley's, m119's and m109's. I know nothing except that. Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get ya |
