| Anonymous Coward User ID: 1382945 05/14/2011 01:44 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I bought a small piece of scrub land and started to do the clearing and clean up. I'm starting survivalist pr0n shop for after the collapse. I bought several privacy tents and solar powered DVD players. And I'll just pimp out my own personal collection until I get the balls rolling. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1378149no seriously, i have 2k that i worked hard to save, what can i do? seriously, that's probably the only small business you could get into with that investment and hope to survive...with the skill set you mentioned. when you have 200 grand. start a new thread and more opportunities will emerge. stick to just selling weed to adults and you probably won't have many legal problems. you'll also learn how to bring forth the fruits of the earth...create wealth... indispensable knowledge... |
| highwater User ID: 1344009 05/14/2011 02:02 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | sales/retail skills are good. What is your passion? I once asked an expert what type of businesses were good to pursue. She asked me what my passion was. It took me a few years to get it. But I've been passionate about clean water for decades. Now I sell water filters. I couldn't have found a better fit for me. $2000 is not much to start a business, but you can do it. If you enjoy retail, think about investing in a good EZ Up canopy, (Do you own a vehicle?), find a distributor of a product that you are both passionate about and believe in, invest about $1000 in the product and set up your booth at shows or venues that will attract your target market. You might have to sell on a cash basis only at first but once you get some money to reinvest, get yourself a merchant acct so you can accept credit cards. Get a smart phone and then get a terminal attachment for sliding credit cards. If you find the right product or products that you have passion for, you will be able to get others excited too. Good luck! I have 2 grand, what small business can I start? Im good in sales/retail etc. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1294231live modestly and prepare for inclement weather. I think you could set-up a really great lemonade stand, in a good location... All kidding aside - it is not a bad idea - everyone likes nostalgia, and a lemonade drink is healthy!!! Be creative with it, and I bet you could turn it into a booming business, and have a lot of fun!!! |
