Pycnogenol was been shown to increase the strength of the blood vessels. |

She started three days ago having severe nose bleeds. Before she left Texas and came home to Colo. her blood pressure was normal. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 758322Does anyone here have this same problem with nose bleeds? If so have u found a solution to stop them? My daughter used to get severe nose bleeds. I took her to about 4 different doctors who told me it's allergies or she picked her nose. The last one we went to told me here have a look-her capillaries were too close to the surface. Every time she got too hot they were rupture. She had them quarterized (burned) & has had no probs since (about 15yrs ago) |

Symptoms include easy bruising and bleeding that may be manifested as nosebleeds, bleeding gums, blood in the urine, blood in the stool, tarry black stools, or extremely heavy menstrual bleeding. In infants, vitamin K deficiency may result in life-threatening bleeding within the skull (intracranial hemorrhage) [link to lpi.oregonstate.edu] |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1376598 United States 05/14/2011 07:24 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My daughter had nose bleeds as a child and was also on seizures meds (meds aren't the cause though). After seeing a ENT specialist, the nose bleeds were from a thin artery/vessel that kept breaking open, when the weather was colder/dryer. I was told it's pretty common in children. Because of my daughter's medical needs, I didn't opt for the office procedure they can offer, so we were told we could use saline nose spray everyday, to keeping moisture in her nose. You can buy the saline nose spray at most grocery stores or Walgreens ect. Plus, I used a humidifier in her room. The nose bleeds stopped. But, you should have it checked out by a physician to be safe. I read she has no insurance, do you have a community health clinic in your area? Some clinics offer sliding scale fees for uninsured. Just a thought :) Good luck OP |

Celiac disease(immune reaction to gluten) can cause this. The only way to know for sure is with a gastroscopy and biopsies. Blood test is not reliable. |

Only in darkness do you find light, Only in bright do you find night. To become awakened and enlightened, one must first experience awakening and enlightening events. Once you have experienced an event, and consciously accepted it, you are now awake. Follow the path of your own choosing and upon completion, you are enlightened. Each step in that path that you chose; each experience you go through; are all like stepping stones leading to the Enlightened "Tree" Your path following those small stepping stones, result in a large outcome; for the wanderer on a spiritual journey, the result is Enlightenment. |

Quoting: ELricthis THIS^^^^ and nosebleeds are one of the side effects of Naproxen. Have you tried OTC allergy/sinus meds? If that's whats giving her headaches there are a LOT of things milder than Naproxen that might help (and cheaper, too)...check the actual ingredients, there are many duplications out there. And check out neti pots/or sinus rinses, too. |
