We have descriptions in the Srimad Bhagavatam of the Spiritual World.

Music in the Spiritual World is simply meant for Glorifying God. All poetic songs are written about the beauties and glories of God. He is so magnamimous that he descends appearing as a human, just to alleviate the degraded civilizations.

God is always surrounded by his most sincere devotees, those who are always thinking of God and absorbed in his personal glories and past times.

Poems are sung about attire, and his activities, his friends and the many forms he has taken in the past, during the millions of years of history.

Save-

Great insight and take into this, I am a bit familiar with Krishna and Srimad Bhagavtam, I did a refresher and found some more info. They are not material music not written for any material gain and are not commercial in any way:

krsna-varnam tvisakrsnam sangopangastra-parsadam
yajnaih sankirtana-prayair yajanti hi su-medhasah

"In this Age of Kali, people who are endowed with sufficient intelligence will worship the Lord, who is accompanied by His associates, by performance of sankirtana-yajna." (Bhag. 11.5.32) Other yajnas prescribed in the Vedic literatures are not easy to perform in this Age of Kali, but the sankirtana-yajna is easy and sublime for all purposes.

"'For spiritual progress in this Age of Kali, there is no alternative, there is no alternative, there is no alternative to the holy name, the holy name, the holy name of the Lord.'

These names we chant of the lord are non sectarian. They are describing qualities and paraphernalia.

Lyrics so you can understand, translation is below. These are non sectarian names. Sanskrit is a complete perfect language to worship in, because it accounts for all the natural sounds.
