These salaries belong to the higher echelon, of which there are far too many useless ones. Most gov jobs could be eliminated and we'd never even miss them. The salaries listed are NOT what your typical federal worker earns. I know, I was one for 30 yrs. There has been NO COLA for a quite a few years now. Congress are the ones who keep increasing their own salaries and benefits. Each administration adds more high paying jobs as favors for their support and etc. |
