They won't exactly backpedal, they'll just do waht they always do, make up some bullshit excuse and say were were saved aty the last moment by the power of prayer or some stupid shit like that. Like I mentioned in another thread, I wouldn't be suprised to see at LEAST on person here on GLP claiming that they were personally responsible for saving us all from the apocalypse (and like that other thread, my vote is for Wingedlion the "holy warrior" or maybe Kevan and his band of "heroes" that still haven't shown up [only a year late now!])

Of course, being religitards they'll probably just revert to the ol' "only god knows when it will happen and us common schlepps aren't privy to that info" bit they like to use when all their other "I'm POSTIVIE it will happen!" prophecies fail.

Good idea on the webcam thing though, it would be pretty rich to watch the look on their face as the day goes by and they're still stuck here, realizing it was either all a big lie, or they didn't get picked.

Cheer up though, some good can come out of all this. Imagine how many disillusioned religitards there will be! All these may 21 rapture beleivers will be so distraught they may turn from the church, some of them might even be so dejected as to off themselves!
