Texas advice here... I live here and I have nothing against blacks but for their own good, I want to let the one's know that to get a job in Texas you should be bi-lingual.
If your not bi-lingual you have a zillion people more qualified then you are instantly.
You can't make anything good of yourself in Texas unless your bi-lingual.
Employers here want you to be able to speak to all of their customers and clients.
Lots of people here still have Spanish as their number one language.

On the other hand if you happen to be black AND are fluent in speaking English AND Spanish you can get easy jobs here in Texas. Employers would love to have you!
