I'm not gonna get into a ton more details, but the project was nicknamed 'The Squirrel' and it's a very good chance that this is them testing it. The specs on the subs performance would be more than enough to cause drastic surface movement. Just a thought. Anonymous Coward User ID: 1383119 United Kingdom 05/18/2011 05:07 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This sounds and looks very much like a phenomenon that is described in the book "Living Water" by Olaf Alexandersson. It is about the Austrian water engineer Victor Schauberger who, amongst many other projects, was involved with the development of NAZI "flying saucers" and novel engines for aircraft and submarines during WW2. The effect has been noticed in some lakes in the Alps where the water suddenly and without obvious explanation, becomes violently turbulent. The disturbance on the surface is often accompanied by a deep rumbling sound and the water level of the lakes is seen to rise spontaneously. I'm not saying that this is what is happening here, but there is a lot we don't know about water and its natural behaviour. At the end of WW2 and into the 'fifties, Schauberger's findings were apparently heavily censored and restricted by the allies. It's a fascinating book (ISBN 0 946551 57 X) and probably a worthwhile read for anybody involved in watercourse maintenance and environmental work. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 826586This actually is the most sensible explanation I have seen yet!~ Yes, I agree. I need to look Washington Lake up on the maps because I have no idea where it is, what feeds it and where it exits. Need to see its size and depth to warrant the sub explanation completely within the "most sensible" explanation category. Still, the USGS geological map of that fault line is interesting as well. I have read about a number of recent past and prehistoric (stories from the native peoples before European settlers came here) that talk about many incidents similar to these. I'll need to look up those Indian stories again as it has been over 20 years since I read them. Last Edited by Khim on 05/18/2011 05:40 PM |

Sireenie User ID: 1303284 United States 05/18/2011 06:10 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Seattle Times article: Quoting: Seagal5A University of Washington research team hauled in a rare catch on the waters of Lake Washington. The researchers were conducting a survey of commonly found fish in the lake last month, when they netted a 5 ½-foot-long white sturgeon near Matthews Beach. State Fish and Wildlife officials say sturgeon sightings are extremely rare in Lake Washington. Even more rare are reports that one has been caught. The researchers took some pictures, then released the fish back into the water. In 1987, an 11-foot-long, 640-pound sturgeon was found dead in the lake. Paul Allen has one of the worlds biggest yachts docked at Mercer Island a few miles south. He has a submarine that can be launched from his yacht. Anyone who thinks this was due to fish is retarded. |

The native people have a story of a great battle between a thunderbird and whale that wrecked havoc on the earth. It has come to light now that they were talking about the eq (9 plus) in 1700 in PNW with the resulting tsunami. It would be interesting to see if they have some tales of strangeness on the lake also. |
Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 1373078 United States 05/18/2011 06:30 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | O.K....Here is a summarization--reasonable and bizarre--that all of your wonderful, curious minds came up with--I am still leaning on the Submarine or Earthquake activity: stealth watercraft undeground river pushed through the floor? underwater fireworks again invisible aliens? The earth farted sturgeon a craft or something from our Sirian brothers & sisters. Fissure opening or venting. a Nessie type monster a bore tide probably cause by the recent alignment The HAARP weather predictor floor bed is fracturing a fault line that is shifting and/or opening up the ripples could have been from something falling in to the lake from the air Some kind of gravity vortex? If the locks were open this could be the reason; The Monster of Lake WashingTard! Swamp gas Could be water or gas under high pressure shooting up from the lake floor at an angle. an impending earthquake. Possibly seismic activity?? Maybe something to do with weird booms and sinkholes. this lake i beleive is connected to puget sound and if the tides are going out real quick you might see this Maybe something HUGE moving slowly across the bottom of the lake The Watcher in the Water...waiting to snatch an unwary jet skier.... It is Bill Gates submarine It's Bin Laden screwing a mermaid. The "Heavenly Lake Monster" is exploring the world! Hasn't anyone yet come up with a video of swarming fish? Earthquake seiche It's called high tide and low tide seacraft, NOAA or the Navy (sand point naval base is there so is NOAA) sinkhole small fault under the lake at the north end a small submarine could be the culprit Scuba diving equipment a 2 man 20' sub to be used in Army Ranger missions. This sounds and looks very much like a phenomenon that is described in the book "Living Water" I'm thinking either meteors flaming through the atmosphere or orbs. |

Either than, or his personal transport just arrived from India. 47°37′39″N 122°14′32″W Wiki: "Bill Gates' house is a large mansion in the side of a hill overlooking Lake Washington in Medina, Washington. The 66,000 sq ft (6,100 m2) house is noted for its design and the technology it incorporates. It is nicknamed Xanadu. In 2009, property taxes were reported to be US $1.063 million on a total assessed value of US$147.5 million. The house is a modern design in the Pacific lodge style, with classic features such as a large private library with a dome shaped roof and oculus (light well).[4] The house also features an estate-wide server system, and heated floors and driveways. The lake in that area & other parts is over 300 feet deep, there r also rivers that run into it - on many days like this one u could c waves like this. I don't think there is much to it. Most likely a normal occurrence, right along with that gray dreary, gloom. |
