...wrong: I was stationed at sand point a few times - u could easily get a sub in through the locks - drive over to lake union and c the ships they bring in there for repair. [ link to www.seattle.gov] Quoting: TTX8K82well not related at all to Lake Washington, which I enjoy when I was in Seattle for a month many years ago, (and enjoyed watching some pretty big ships going thru the locks as part of the tourist thing, thanks for the memory), there in an underground SUB base in Nevada, the under ground channels from the Pacific go that far inland. there is a lot of strange stuff in Nevada, but I have not heard that one - in her book "Area 51: An Uncensored History of America's Top Secret Military Base", Annie Jacobsen, states that over 180 surface & 860+ underground nuke detonations have taken place since 1951, in Nevada. Who knows what's there?  I heard of this recently too, but don't have the time to look into it yet. By the way, what's your perspective on the book, I was thinking of buying a copy? I don't know - she was on fox & friends pushing the book - tonight @ 7 & 10 on Nat geo channel they will be covering some of it. I'm on directv so times may differ, I might buy it - reviews at amazon r 19 5 star, 20 - 1 star, sounds like u ether love it or hate it.
