Ac 13885..,

There is great protection and a promise (2) from Mary for those who wear the Scapular. The devil hates those who wear the Brown Scapular properly.

No devotion has been confirmed by more numerous authentic miracles than the Brown Scapular.

To receive the promises given by Blessed Mother to those who wear the Brown Scapular,

you must be enrolled by a priest to the Confraternity of the Brown Scapular and vested (call a Catholic Church, the office, to find out the date of the Scapular enrollment.
There is usually one at least each year. It takes a few
minutes and usually done after a Sunday Mass)

in this tiny habit of brown wool, as she gave to St. Simon Stock and the Carmelites.

The Two Great Promises of Our Lady of Mount Carmel

are available to those who have been enrolled in the Brown Scapular:

1st Great Promise:

The great promise of the Blessed Virgin Mary, given to St. Simon Stock on July 16, 1251, is as follows:

"Whoever dies wearing this scapular shall not suffer eternal fire."

2nd Great Promise: (Sabbatine Privilege)

Blessed Mother's 2nd Scapular Promise, known as the Sabbatine Privilege (the word 'Sabbatine' meaning Saturday)

was given by the Blessed Virgin Mary to Pope John XXIII in the year 1322 and is as follows:

"I, the Mother of Grace, shall descend on the Saturday after their death,

and whomsoever I shall find in Purgatory, I shall free."

Conditions to obtain Sabbatine Privilege:

1) Wear the Brown Scapular;

2) Practice chastity according

to one's state of life; (keeping the 6th and 9th
Commandment)

3) Daily recitation of the Little Office

of the Blessed Virgin Mary. -or- pray a daily
rosary

Substitution of 3rd condition:

1) Those who cannot read can abstain

from meat on Wednesday and Saturday.

2) Any priest who has diocesan faculties

has the additional faculty to change the 3rd

requirement into another pious work

-for example, pray the daily Rosary.

the OP:
MPO now, especially in these times. Anyone (you don't have to be Catholic) can wear the Brown Scapular. Go to a Catholic store or order online, they're very inexpensive.

in 1830 they looked in the tomb of Pope Gregory X, who died in 1276. Five hundred and fifty-four years after the death of Pope Gregory X, everything was ashes and dust, everything after 554 years, but we have found the Brown Scapular of Pope Gregory X and it is now intact in a famous museum, in Italy.

Saint John Bosco, a good fifty years after he was dead, they wanted to see what kind of a priest he was. To look in the tomb again, everything was ashes but they discovered the Brown Scapular of Saint John Bosco about 4 inches by 4 inches. And, the scapular you can see it with your own eyes in the museum of St. John Bosco in Turin just beside the room where he died.

When they moved the remains of Mr. and Mrs. Martin, the parents of St. Therese of Lisieux, they moved the bodies from the cemetery and then put them to rest behind the Basilica of Mt. Carmel, everything was ashes, except the Brown Scapulars of Mr. and Mrs. Martin.

"Don't we all look like that some of the time? Beaten down by our own faults and sins, just hanging on by a thread, but not giving up, even though you know your a joke. I know I have."

rose

"It also indicates a yet extinguished faith in Mel Gibson.
Perhaps that's a large part of the mystery of the scapular."
