A small ash cloud from Cleveland Volcano was detected in satellite views beginning today, Nov. 10, at 11:47AM AST (20:47 UTC) drifting slowly toward the ENE from the summit. The ash cloud was last observed about 60 miles south of Dutch Harbor at 18:43 AST, Nov. 10 (03:43 UTC Nov 11). AVO has received no other reports of activity at the volcano.

Sudden explosions of blocks and ash remain possible with little or no warning. The previous confirmed explosion occurred on August 20. Ash clouds, if produced, could exceed 20,000 feet above sea level. If a large ash-producing event occurs, nearby seismic, infrasound, or volcanic lightning networks should alert AVO staff quickly. However, for some events, a delay of several hours is possible. There is no real-time seismic monitoring network on Mount Cleveland and AVO is unable to track activity in real time.

This is just too freaking weird. What the hell happened there? Meteor? Some type of directional weapon? Methane from a fault?
Gas leak and meth lab have been ruled out. Quite a mystery.

I was wondering if the venting of well #4 had anything to do with the seismos looking that way, but they didn't look anything like that yesterday and they started venting that well Saturday.

EMSC seems to have finally settled on a 6.4 for the Gulf of Alaska quake. They changed it a bunch of times.

Office of Conservation Orders Texas Brine to Take Further Steps to Protect Public Safety

The new orders under the existing Declaration of Emergency and Directive also specifically require Texas Brine to install in-home monitors to detect possible natural gas accumulations and to upgrade home ventilation for all slab-foundation buildings within the Bayou Corne evacuation area established by Assumption Parish. These additional orders are needed because of the potential for methane accumulation connected to the failure of Texas Brine’s nearby brine mining cavern.

Observation Well #2 has been re-perforated and there is pressure present. A flare stack will be installed and we will update accordingly.

Also, we’ve been informed that 3 trees that were standing where the last slough in occurred, have fallen into the sinkhole.

I'm OK! I knew it... I knew that was coming...I could feel the energy in my bones for the last few days felt like I had to get everything in order people have been very moody and argumentative, edgy, couldn't sleep at all last night me, the dogs,the cat- just had that uneasy- something's coming feeling was standing out on the porch at 6 AM staring at the night sky it was like you could almost smell it I know that probably sounds crazy but...
