Hi, AK, there was only one. Those are readings from 3 different sites, EMSC, USGS, Geo-Science. Note the time is the same. The mag difference is because of the location of that particular reporting agency. Usually they will all eventually agree to a mag.

They just finished the monthly testing of the Emergency sirens today. I have had your comment in the back of my mind all morning. I got alarmed until I realized it was the first Wednesday of the month....whew!

Didn't mean to upset you. There are other things besides earthquakes on the 33rd that are quiet disturbing and worth watching. It runs right through the hottest spot on earth right now, the Middle East.

It's the time of year when the sailing stones of Racetrack Playa in California's Death Valley are on the move. Probably. No one has actually seen these huge rocks move along the flat, dry lake bed. But, we know they do. Sometime, when no one's looking, usually after freezing weather or heavy wind or rain, the rocks up and scoot themselves leaving unmistakable travel grooves in their wake. Extremely patient scientists studying the wanderliths have concluded that wetter winter weather plays a role in the stone rolling, but they're still not exactly sure how it all works.
