Officials: ‘Elevated’ hydrocarbon readings on residential street 1,000s of feet from sinkhole — Levels previously so high, sheriff threatened public with arrest for tampering with monitors [ link to enenews.com] This is totally ridiculous! Do they have proof they were tampered with? NOThey just don't want the public to know how bad it is getting. Good old Louisiana government at work. Almost as corrupt as the Chicago machine.
