Yes, with the earthquake. Some are saying it was real weird. If you go to the link I put up, it has a twitter ticker on the left hand side and if you have the page translated to English, which what I know of Spanish, isn't the best or the words most polite people use, you can read what people are describing about the quake.

Hi AKO, It's been quiet earthquake wise just a couple of fours. Only 1 aftershock reported from that 6.5 EQ in Costa Rica. I'm watching Fiji/Indonesia just a gut feeling.

Watching Alaska too we're having high winds again tonight
had to batten down the hatches again...at least it's not a blizzard and -40 below...YET! lol

We had 3 quakes in our area last night heard rumbling but didn't feel them same thing happened in June rumbling and growling made the dogs go nuts weird noises for sure

HURRICANE SANDY PROMOTES EARTHQUAKES IN COSTA RICA AND THE CAYMAN ISLANDS


A new hurricane - Sandy - formed over Central America over the past two days is moving north over the Caribbean Sea. Low pressures from such meteorological events, when they center over the land mass can relieve atmospheric loading on the land allowing it to rise with respect to the underlying subduction zone. This, in turn reduces friction along the subduction zone faults allowing larger earthquakes to occur. This appears to have been the case yesterday when an M 6.6 in Costa Rica occurred as the low pressure system associated with Hurricane Sandy was located over the area. Sandy has now moved northward and is currently east of the Cayman Islands and near Cuba. The strongest earthquake reported since our last summary occurred today in the Cayman Islands as Hurricane Sandy was passing to the east...

It has been reported to us that there was a sharp tremor recorded by USGS monitors at approximately 9:06 last night. The tremor was large enough that the body wave phases could easily be identified. The preliminary location was just SE of Oxy #3 cavern at a depth of 500m. There is no additional information specific to this seismic activity at this time.

Keep in mind with the EQ's happening on the Caribbean Plate, that the North American plate, including the NM plate are going to have to move, so this would make the activity in the sinkhole even more sensitive. Being it is a weak point..
