] THE ALASKA VETERANS MUSEUM
Here's a video we shot last summer and just got posted of the Alaska Veterans Museum-Col Suellyn Wright Novak, Retired USAF-This lady has an amazing plethora of information and stories about the Japanese Invasion of the Alaska island of Attu, The Forgotten War, The Alaskan Scouts, The Eskimo Scouts, the very romantic story of a nightie made from a parachute, The Alcan Highway, The finding of the USS Grunion. If you are a history buff they have wonderful books and videos available for sale the money from book/video sales go to the museum. We donated our time filmed this video and put it on our website and in our publication free of charge to help promote the Museum and pay tribute to those men and women so many know nothing about and to help support all their efforts.

A parasitic 30-m-high cinder cone, formed in 1962 near sea level, occurs at Sirius Point and an older parasitic cone, now leveled by marine erosion, occurs at sea level 5.6 km southwest of Kiska Volcano
Last activity was 1990 but it's been showing a lot of actvity the last several weeks.
