I never post here but I lurk every day as I think this thread has awesome people and information . Just want to share this . Hope it's okay.

For the past two weeks or so , I have been experiencing sudden dizziness and vertigo. Have never had this happen before. I notice other GLP posters have felt it too. It hit's suddenly and it's very disconcerting. I have also felt slight, sort of rolling , undulating earth movements , especially when I lay still so as to tune into it. This may also explain the dizziness. Sometimes I feel a slight jar , sort of a jerk or a mild thud. I live Georgia. It worries me as I believe the earth is on the move , especially in the South , and I worry about the sinkhole in Louisiana and the New Madrid. I want to add, I have also been waking up out of a sound sleep at about 4:13 -4:15 a.m lately. It's happened at 5-6 times in the last two - three weeks. No need to respond . Just wanted to share.

Thanks for sharing Marie. This is the kind of info I look for from many who post here. One persons instinct could be used to save many.

We are currently at the peak of quake season. Coming out of winter into Summer usually brings with it many quakes due to the codl and hot weather reaction. Expansion and contraction. So all in quake prone areas please be wary these next 3 to 4 months.

Quake smashes homes in China: Chinese officials say a shallow, 5.5 magnitude earthquake has hit southwest China, causing hundreds of homes to collapse and injuring about 20 people. China’s official Xinhua news agency says the quake struck a rural area in the southwestern province of Yunnan Sunday afternoon, destroying 700 homes and damaging a further 2,500 houses. There were no reports of fatalities, though three of the injured are in serious condition. Xinhua said the quake struck just nine kilometers beneath the surface. Iran still reeling from aftershocks: The 6.4-magnitude earthquake, which rocked the city of Varzaghan in East Azarbaijan Province northwest of Iran on August 11, has had 4162 aftershocks, the Fars News Agency reported. The latest aftershock occurred on Saturday measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale. According to the report, Varzaghan has jolted 14 times in the past 24 hours. The main earthquake imposed some 11 trillion rials (about $900 million) loss on industry, agriculture, and service sectors. According to latest reports, 306 people were dead and over 3,000 injured. I developed vertigo right before the 2011 Japan EQ. Hasn't really been that big of an issue until a few days ago.

It's amazing what you can feel if you just be still. That's why the dolphins that are on the move have me intrigued...what do they sense?

long time lurker also. i never post, but i had the same experience as we were sitting at our dinner table last night. came out of no where as i was visiting with sime dinner guests. el q i am in oklahoma south east if this helps with any predictions. i also have been having that sensation of slight earth movement or swaying as well. we live in the country and have a ranch with various cattle, dogs, etc... they were acting strange several days ago, and now seem to favor the higher ground area on our little ranch here. luv reading this thread, thx for all the great info.

It's a very weird dizziness . It's almost like a swaying sensation. And Dolphins are extremely intelligent and sensitive. I have been keeping up with the stories about them. They know something.And the earth movements are new to me. It's like all my sense are in hyper mode.

The news here in Southern Cali reported people smelling methane gas last night 03/2/13 at around 11:30 - 11:45 PM. Many folks called 911.

Isn't methane an indicator of tectonic plates shifting?

Officials said the smell wasn't strong enough for them to be worried about Earthquakes, but if people called 911 it must have been pretty potent.

Hi, I post in spurts here and there, but mostly just lurk about myself. I have been here for over three years, but not always as a member. Anyway, about three days ago I started feeling the same sensations as you mentioned. I was at my desk in my room and it was a rolling or wave movement over and over. It startled me to the point where I called out to my daughter who was in the other room to see if she felt it. She did not feel anything. It has been happening off and on since then. My question to you is, "what area of Georgia do you live in"? I live in North Alabama a little east of central near Tn. I was wondering if we were close enough that we are feeling the same motion.

yes i agree. it comes like waves. ive even been hit with slight nausea. happened a week or so ago as well and then my ears rang with like a loud long tone. very strange. almost feels like being caught between two forces pushing at each other. I even leaned quite a bit to the left instinctively trying to keep my balance. seems many others have these same things happening. i agree its unconfortable, particularly as i never know when its going to happen. its like laying in a tree hammock and a slight sway of the wind comes along only u swing back and forth almost to the point of spining like floating in water. glad im not the only one, i had just dismissed it-but it continues to happen. never dealt with this before. if u r in georgia and another is in alabama and im in far south oklahoma then nit sure what that means. weve had quite a few quakes in oklahoma and they think they have discovered a new east west fault line. we are at the edge of the ozark mountains. our hime sits on a mountain top with an area that is very sandy and clay composed. I was guessing i was feeling the waves as the sand moved as it can be pretty fluid. our whole house shook back in november with the 5.9 and the epi center was over 150 miles away. sonethings definitely up. hoping the animals will give us a heads up and some warning. sorry for the poor typing on this post, using my phone. lol
