The latest episode of "Swamp People" on the History Channel is about the sinkhole. Check it out and look at how the whole bayou far away from the sinkhole is bubbling. Caution...the show is about gator hunting, a way of life down here for over a century. So many gators down here there is a hunting season for them. They pose a threat to the ecosystem, animals, kids and people in general. Hunting "thins" the herd so to speak.

And if they admit that they don't know the source why would anyone in the community or acting in an official capacity for the state sit there and let them say that they think the sources are exhausted? They don't have a clue and they admit that. Don't buy their crap about "we think it is exhausted and we think gas volumes in the aquifer will start to diminish."
