Yes, I tell this to black people and to anyone else who needs a reminder. If you are Christian, you know that walking in the body of Christ is the most amazing thing there is. Your walk with him shouldn't be jeopardize by anything, especially by someone you don't have much respect for. Jesus is great and he shouldn't loose the people he loves. Be blessed, and seek out the way God has worked in the lives of those whom you have trouble regarding highly. Know respect for them because you see how your God loves and cares for them as he loves and cares for you.
