What will happen this May 21st? we don't know for sure, however we do know what happened in Noah's Day..

the 7 days that Noah had of waqrning. Sunset tonight, May 20, 2011...the 17 IYAR, the second month---- the doors of the ark might The 17th day of IYAR is the day that God CLOSED Noah's ARK after he gave a seven day warning period to scoffers who laughed at Noah.

On the 17th day of IYAR, the SECOND MONTH of the Hebrew calendar, the doors the the ark were CLOSED TO NONBELIEVERS, and the floodwaters began.

Tonight (May 20- may 21) begins the 17th day of IYAR in 2011

The Days of Noah'...
:

Matthew 24:36-44 — 36 "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.
37 "But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

38 "For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark,

39 "and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
40 "Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left.

41 "Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left.

42 "Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.

43 "But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into.
44 "Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

I think all of this "May 21st" business will only serve to usher in the great "falling away" spoken of in 2 Thess. 2:3. The parable of the 5 Virgins (Matthew 25) says the "Groom delays His coming" and all the Brides go to sleep but He comes at midnight and only those who keep the "oil" (Holy Spirit) will be able to discern His coming in time.

Tomorrow might be the set "Wedding Day" but the Bible clearly says the Groom will delay His coming. I don't expect any rapture tomorrow but it could be the start of "the delay"!

Either way, I am ready and I am keeping my "oil" handy when nothing happens and most who are watching "fall asleep"!

Even so, COME QUICKLY, LORD JESUS!

The Parable of the thief is interesting, as Jesus states if a person knew a theif was coming to your home to steal you would watch for him as he was trying to break in...

However:

Most people even though they know theives exist, do not sit and watch for a theif to come into there home, unless someone alerts them, that a theif is in the neighborhood, or the police tells you someone is planning to break into your home, the you perk up and become concerned and look for who is coming..

Camping and his crew are expecting Jesus to come for them, so regardless if he comes tomorrow or 5 years from now they are expecting him and it will not be a suprise...

Mosy people truly are not expecting Jesus to return and yes these are the ones that will be totally caught off guard and left behind.....

and in those days mens hearts shall fail them for fear of that which comes upon the earth.

times are rough, they are in dire straights. they are looking for an easy way out. a savior.
Christians have had to face and realize their own sins, and feel compelled to try and help others as well.

This chant of Holier than thou is wrong and is taught by others making you think what is cool or acceptable to them.

The thought of "believe as i do" is strongly in an unbelievers life, because they feel they will be ridiculed by their friends.

Every falsehood a unbeliver weilds, is merely a reflection of the obstacles that unbeliever must face from his very own peers.

Unbelievers are the true followers, they are dedicated to fear of what other people think of them.

And because of this, they are ashamed of themselves, but wall themselves up to feel comfortable and safe, assuring themselves with rationality and laughter.

Which is insanity!

Hi Susie.

The verse above, the phrase "marrying and giving in marriage" has always struck me as very strange.

Any thoughts on that?

BTW, Very interesting post.

But...if Jesus fails to come according to Camping's time constraints, how many of those following his teachings will fall away?

I predict many watching this weekend will fall away if their expectations are not met. I could be wrong and maybe they will continue to watch as you say but no matter how you slice it, prophecy is being fulfilled this weekend and I hope their disappointment doesn't lead to deep despair. The true Brides will keep watching and events like this will surely serve to weed them out!

God Bless You!

Hi there!

Well I believe that verse comes out of Genesis 6 where Fallen Angels were marrying daughters of Men...

Satan and his demons always wanted to dis-rupt GOD's plans for Sex, Marriage and Pro-creation....

It might have to do with Strange Marriages in our time that would be homosexual marriages.....

GOD would not point out Giving in Marraige unless it had to do with a perversion of his plan for Holy Marriage....

You know Watcher, I really know nothing of Harold Camping and his following, I can't judge there heart or sincerity in spreading this date around, I think and this is my opinion only, is that the world, people who really love Jesus and look for his return are trying so hard to make him return, maybe a zeal that is of extreme hope they don't have any more patience like GOD has with us...

We must remember Jesus said it would be really really hard in the end days, but we MUST ENDURE to the end, even though people like myself will look up like a child and say sometimes Jesus can't you just come back now????

BUt GOD knows what is best for mankind and we have to put all our trust in him, pray and understand he knows what is best in these last days....
