Did Anyone Else in CO Hear the LOUD Trumpet sounds that seemed to come from the Sky?

All of you heard the trumpets and when you heard them did you feel nervous inside or just curious at the sound ?

Curious of the sound. It really scared the boys. They likened it to the sounds the alien ships made War of the Worlds.

It sounded sort of metal-ish and trumpet like. One of the boys heard it from inside of the house and then came running out to see what it was.

I think someone in Lakewood heard trombones and someone at Capitol Hill heard flutes.

No, but the other day here in Lakewood I heard tornado warning sirens go off for about 15 minutes when the weather wasn't bad. Might have been a test but I also heard someone on a loudspeaker, but couldn't make out what he was saying.

If it was on a Tuesday, it was just standard testing.

I am on the east coast. Early mid-morning early August we heard two extremely loud "trumpet" blasts, very deep bass tones. The tones went right through you, and made the ground vibrate.

I think they lasted only a few seconds each, but if they lasted any longer, I am sure there would have been headlines about it, and it would have been unbearable.

There were no obvious sources, and the sound seemed to come from above local store and home heights, but not really from way up in the sky. I gave it no thought until now when I accidentally came across videos about this on You Tube.

I haven't heard anyone talk about it, but if it happens again I will definitely document it and investigate it by contacting others in the area.

This is a VERY good description of the sound. When I first learned of the Earth Groaning noises i watched War of the Worlds that night. The sound is VERY similar to the metallic alien machines when they talk to each other.

Almost a type of whale song.

my question is, everybody ever wakes up, by a HUGE bass tone, like, i dont know, a speaker with enormous bass sound just making 1 loud noise?

then u wake up? or before going to sleep?


i might not make any sense, but been wondering about it ever since people hear it haha.

On a Sat or Sun eve at about 5pm... @Dec 17 or 18...
In downtown Littleton...for about 25 minutes..
Husband thinks a train muffler came off...the
pervasive DEEP screech was as strong as an airraid,
as disturbing as and earthquake..and as mysterious
as a chorus of warning WHALES... glad you all heard
it too....

I woke up to a small moon singing to me outside a two story bedroom. I remember asking, "What do you want?" and saying okay, okay. Dont remember what it said though. That was about 4 years ago.

Loud trumpet just shocked and waked me. Im not focused how it sounds :) But i almost not jumped from my bed :D

It was several years ago, but the sound was loud and unusual enough to bring the guys out of the house to investigate; and they were watching a football game on tv. It went on for several minutes and sounded like a huge hulking mass of creaking metal in the sky. Bright sunny day, clear sky and that noise loud enough to shake the nerves. Freaky. Central Ky here and on the edge of the New Madrid fault zone.
