you need to do what i did and get yourself into the hallway/bathtub or whatever shelter and keep your radio on. there is enough warning these days to know exactly when you need to take cover but have it all ready to go....mattress shoved into the hall (do that now), helmets, pillows, blankets, etc and cover up with ALL OF IT when the tornado hits.
