Would somebody PLEASE check to see if lawrence livermore national laboratory has normal levels of cars in the parking lots, and normal levels of activity?

As soon as you see THAT place devoid of cars and people, then you KNOW that it's time to LEAVE.

I keep posting threads asking SOMEBODY to check it out. Somebody who lives nearby. But nobody seems to think it's a worthwhile endeavor.

Why.... I have NO idea.

Similar to how your wife/ gf/bf says you have a big dick knowing damn well your shit is tiny.

Not saying you just in general
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1373925

Possibly. :)

But a large portion of Livermore is employed by the lab. Including many of my neighbors and one family member. People are going to and from work, parking lot looks like it always does, families bbqing, kids in park, grocery store full, carts full of milk, spinach and strawberries, nothing out of the ordinary. If the employees there are
comfortable, then I personally feel confident. If there were really something huge coming, this place would be a ghost town. If that happens, yall will be the first to know.

Ya know I watched the main stream news (around March 15) and they said the radiation was so bad you could not fly an oridnary helicopter over the site because they were too slow. THE PILOTS WOULD BE LEATHAL DOSED BEFORE THEY GOT TO THE OTHER SIDE. Of course the ~story~ soon changed.

Don't blame me because thats what they said.

You figure it out.

Reuters news reports that United Nations expects its experts to find no bad effects from radiation to people os the environment. First report to be released mid-2012.

That's Reuters....can't get more legit than that.

And tourism is expected to resume in Japan.

This means the meltdown isn't at all that bad.cool2

I have heard from a Japanese Lady that the Yakuza gangs are making members of Families that owe them Debts go straight to Fukushima as 'Cleanup workers' as opposed to what she said they would normally do and that was to force them into making their Daughters 'act' in Porn Films?!

This is what I was told by a Japanese Lady here in the UK..as to it being true or not is another matter but I do not believe She would have just made this up due to the severity of Her claim.

I have been sitting on this for a while not knowing whether to pass on the Info. due to my lack of other Sources but I feel this is the truth as She told me.

It's about time i made an account i've been following this thread very closely. I'm just very curious about something. If the radiation leak is as big as the charts are saying, then why are there still birds singing on the camera which is only 20 miles (so i was told) away from the actual site? Surely it would be inhabitable for them by now?

wtf

This 200 Sv/h is strange in reactor 1, seems like 200 was the max cap on the sensor which means probably 200+ maybe even 300+ Sv/h.

If the reactor 3 explosion with the mox fuel exploded on march 25, you have to wonder if that was a hydrogen explosion or nuclear explosion, and I dont think the radiation at that time was even 100 Sv/h.

If the reactor 3 explosion in march 25 was a hydrogen explosion, then reactor 3 and reactor 2 should be reaching 200+ Sv/h soon similar to reactor 1!!!!!!!!

Bob,

According to the following post the spike means that the corium (nuclear magma) has breached the RPV (Reactor Pressure Vessel) and has fallen onto the drywell (concrete containment floor).

It seems the water TEPCO has been pouring into this R1 area has kept the RPV metal cool enough to keep the corium from melting through the bottom. But now it has melted through the bottom.

Given previous posts on this forum it seems we now how about six hours before the corium eats its way through the six feet of concrete in the floor of this secondary containment. Then 15 feet through soil to reach the water table. If that happens it will be KABOOM steam explosion time as this nuclear magma can reach 5,000 degrees Centigrade.

Then like Emmy notes we have a nuclear radiation fountain, an old faithful gusher.

Before it is over we may have three of them – side-by-side.
