The whites were probably all going to try to return the purse to its rightful owner figuring they were doing a good deed, and laughed when the prank was revealed.

The blacks show up, RUN to grab some cash, get angry at the prank and then come back determined to get the prize. When prankster objects and says the purse is his he's assaulted.

Yep, that's how I saw it. I'd pick up a purse or wallet to try and return it too.

The black guy was such a joke. He took off his shirt to fight - such animalistic posturing. It isn't like the white guy was threatening anyone or being threatening but they really wanted to fight over that purse.
