It scrambles what you are sending looks like random http traffic but even if they logged it all they couldn't actually re create a packet and find a chunk of a torrent with XX movie.

i have peer block running now with standard lists, blocking 776 million ips/

i dont watch movies anyway.

yea after i got that letter last week i subscribed for 10 bucks a year to get the anti-infringement list.

Politely send one back explaining how downloading a movie from another person is no different than going to there house and watching it or copying it or borrowing it.
Which is not illegal.
And that it is not the full high quality version of the movie and that you have not taken the right away from the copyright holder to sell it.
And have taken no physical thing off them as if you hadn't have got it off your friend you wouldn't have bought it anyway.
