Senator Patrick said he had to have at least 21 votes to bring it back up today, he went to all the senators to ask for their support, but could not even the get that 21.

that was just all a scare tactic on the feds part. the house stood firm 138 - 0, but the senators chickened out.

well, it will be re-introduced in January. we can push again.

i think Texans could get a letter together supporting Patrick's bill and get their city council and county commissioner members to sign it. get everyone to sign it. then send it to your senator.

i believe that Texans will get this passed. don't re-elect Dewhurst.

I sent the email petition. Then i called Senator Dan Patrick's office, and spoke to his assistant. YES !
I told her to tell him it's time to find his cahones again.
And to call the TSA bluff. To stand up for our rights, our Constitutional rights. And, to stop these TSA thugs.
I told her that there is no way that they will shut down Texas air travel because it would hamper or shut down air traffic around the world. And again I stated to tell Sen. Patrick to stand up, find his cahones, and call their bluff.
He has the support of Texans. So, use it.
Then I said thanks for taking my call.

I wish you had been an abortion. I hate abortion myself, but fanatic abortion fighters are more narrow minded than anyone on the planet. You can't think for yourself because your preacher has to put the thought into your head first, then you can call it your own. Why weren't you raptured? you can also write to your senator and ask him how he will vote when it comes up again. tell him/her that you will not be voting for him/her if they don't support Patrick's bill.

tell them you will work for the other guy/gal to get into office.

The bill is dead for this legislative session. Dan Patrick did his best to get back the 30 votes he thought he had, but failed.

We will be collecting the names of those lily-livered senators who abandoned the bill to make sure they NEVER return to Austin. They might as well pack up at the end of the current session as they won't be returning.

Yesterday, the Texas Legislature took a cue from Chamberlain and bowed to a Federal Government threat to shut down air travel if Texas criminalized the touching of peoples genitals by TSA workers at airports.

The United States Department of Justice, in anticipation of the almost guaranteed passage of the bill fired off a letter to the Texas Senate threatening to shut down all air travel in Texas if it passed. Channeling the spirit of Neville Chamberlain, Lt. Governor David Dewhurst in concert with Senator Kirk Watson used this threat as an excuse to work behind the scenes to kill the bill."

Dewhurst is dead politically one this one issue alone. I wish I knew who didn't go along with Patrick, they are also the enemy and need to be politically eliminated and sent back to being private citizens.

so ur point is that all states are under judgment for killing children by abortion. that has been pointed out over and over. the deal here is that texus was gonna take a stand against fed molloch but not to stop innocent bloodshed. texuns is just a little upset about one of the judgments on them that seemed a little too personal and thought they would lodge a complaint and seek some relief. they have no intention of stopping the killing however so the judgments will continue in texus and across the nation.
