Read several books on the subject and was impressed with how easy it is to get someone into a trance like state. Then i started to research Conversational Hypnosis and Instant Hypnosis. One of my favorite Teachers is Igor Ledochowski. Purchased his course on "How to Master Conversational Hypnosis" You would be surprised at how many people actually do conversational hypnosis and don't even realize it. Everything on T.V. is bombarded with Hypnosis techniques, NLP, subliminal programming. It's fun to sit back and watch when you know what's going on. Dentists and Doctors use conversational hypnosis when they work on their patients. Many Politicians are experts in Hypnosis and NLP. Something else i learned is how to spot what someone is thinking, hearing or feeling when you ask them a question based on their eye movements and body language. Does anyone else practice hypnosis? It's not as easy as it looks. It takes years to master and hours of trial and error. Those people are also very susceptible to hypnosis and the instructor can tell by certain cues the individual emits. I can see the interest in hypnosis for sure, in fact it is quite fascinating to read about! My question is though is why is it that evert single time I witness someone performing "hypnosis" on someone, like in the videos on your thread, I can see nothing but a fat load of BS? Did (or do) you have this separation at any point? I would imagine that if one were to truly want to explore this to ANY degree beyond recreational reading the first step would have to be getting over your own mental blocks to it. Thoughts? Darren Brown is a prodigy with hypnosis. No BS in his works. The Big Guy with the pony tail when he does his inductions seems a bit far fetched. However we are not seeing the entire picture. The subjects have been hypnotized many times by this guy and he has anchors embedded in their subconscious that can be activated at will with certain triggers. Watch the Darren Brown clips. There only a few minutes each and in my opinion genuine. With stage hypnosis, the Hypnotist is trained to look for certain cues or body language from the audience. Some people are more susceptible to go into trance with hypnotic inductions. The hypnotist will then invite up to the stage the individuals that are the easiest to control.
