It is clear to me that anybody that tells the police they work somewhere that they do not work, and stands by that statement even as the police are walking you into the place, does not have a firm grasp on reality.

We probably all know adults that lie. But that particular lie was like one of a little child. There was no way around getting busted on it. What was she thinking would happen? Maybe she was hoping right before they got to Universal Studios there would be a giant earthquake? Maybe someone there would vouch for her?

Even if she drugged her daughter, with sleeping pills and or chloroform, that does not explain the duct tape. The sticker is just weird. Perhaps the duct tape could have been because Casey had originally planned to report a kidnapping. So then the tape would make sense when she was found. Perhaps she then realized she couldn't report a kidnapping because she waited to long. Then she just started using the nanny story to anyone that asked. Without Cindy this may have gone on for a much longer time.

Also I remember she talked to her brother while in jail before Caylee was found. He asked her if Casey thought Caylee was nearby. Casey said that she thought or felt that she was close. Back then people were saying they were talking in code. Maybe so.

Here's my 2 cents: Casey and Cindy had a terrible fight on the night of 6/15/08 about Casey stealing money from her grandmother (Cindy's mom, Shirley). During the fight, Cindy strangled Casey. Lee testified to this in his LE intervews. Casey was already sick of being tied down by her daughter and she knew that Caylee was getting old enough to start 'telling' on her. Casey's carefully constructed facade of the job at Universal and the babysitter, Zanny, was going to blow up in her face as soon as someone thought to ask Caylee about it. She was also pissed and jealous that Cindy was more of a mom to her daughter than she was.

With all of those factors in play, the fight and strangling were the last straw. She waited until George went to work on the 16th and then returned to the house with Caylee. She mixed up some homemade chloroform in a Gatorade bottle and injected Caylee with it, which would have been painful to Caylee, so Casey wrapped her mouth and nose in duct tape to hurry things along. Once Caylee had died, Casey freaked out and attempted to call her mother a half dozen times, also attempted to call Tony, Jesse and Amy, all within a short period of time. She couldn't get anyone on the phone so she placed Caylee in her playhouse until she could figure out what she was going to do (Remember, the cadaver dogs hit on the playhouse. I also believe she placed the heart sticker over Caylee's mouth at this point). She went over to Tony's and didn't breathe a word to him. She didn't want any unpleasantness to spoil her relationship or her good time, so she kept quiet.

Casey stayed with Tony the whole next day except for a brief period where she stopped by the Anthony house (to check on the body?).

On the 18th, she backed her car into the garage (which she never did) and went next door to borrow a shovel from Brian Burner. Her intent was to bury Caylee in the backyard. She found that digging a grave is harder than it sounds (especially for a prima donna) and decided to throw Caylee into her trunk instead. When she returned the shovel, she was neither sweaty nor dirty.

Caylee was in the trunk for at least 24 hours. In the hot Florida sun, decomp sets in quickly. Casey then placed her in the woods, in her old 'hiding spot'. The exact spot was behind and between two adjacent homes. (Interesting side note: at the time of the murder (according to whitepages.com), one of the adjacent properties was occupied by a woman named 'Zenaida' and the other was occupied by a family named 'Gonzales'. It has been speculated that Casey and Caylee spent time here while Casey was supposedly working and that after Caylee disappeared, she kept telling people that Zenaida Gonzales had her, but this was code for the location of the body. Just an FYI).

Symbolism is very important to some psychopaths, especially those who are narcissistic. This case is riddled with it. The 'Big Trouble Comes in Small Packages' T-shirt that Caylee was wearing, the heart-shaped sticker, the final resting place of the body (according to childhood friends, this part of the woods was the hiding place they went to for doing secret 'adult things', so it makes sense that Casey's biggest secret should be hidden there), the 2 movies that she and Tony rented on the night of the murder ('Untraceable' - about a serial killer and 'Jumper' - about a mother who abandons her chid), etc.

She abandoned her stinking car at the Amscot with her purse still in it. She had been talking to an online friend in California about moving out there, so perhaps she planned to stage a kidnapping. Cindy found her too early, though. Also possible that she had no plan and was just narcissistic enough to think that everything would be fine and Caylee would eventually be treated as a missing person. Who knows?

I don't think that George was involved in Caylee' death, nor that he molsted Casey as a child. Multiple reasons, but the strongest arguments are these: (1) If George had disposed of the already dead toddler's body, duct tape over the mouth would only serve 1 purpose: to stage a kidnapping. George is an ex-cop. Had he planned it that way, he would've destroyed the roll of duct tape immediately, not left it in the house. (2) If George had sexually molested Casey, no matter how psychopathic she was, she NEVER would've left Caylee with George. Doesn't make sense.

If I'm not mistaken, the Gonzalez family still occupies their home, but the tenant named 'Zenaida' in the other home has since moved out.

I think George molested Kaycee and messed her mind up. I think he could have tried to chlorofoam Kaylee to molest her and accidently killed her after he molested her. He didn't want the police to be called or he would have been found out. I also think that George should have been dna tested...he could be the father.

George HAS been DNA tested and so have Lee Anthony and Jesse Grund.

Knowing the body was going to be disposed of in a remote location, Casey placed the duct tape over her daughter's mouth and nose to keep bugs/flies from entering her body. Sounds like an odd thing to do after killing (accidentally or otherwise) your child but she evidently had some remorse over what happened.
I believe she's 100 percent guilty or knows who caused the death due to info on home-made chloroform being found on her PC.
I think she should just do an in-person hour-long show with Nancy Grace. Didn't Nancy badger some other women with a missing child into committing suicide? Maybe that would work with Casey?

Yeah, it was Melinda Duckett, Trenton Duckett's mom, who offed herself due to Nancy's harassment. That approach wouldn't work with Casey - she's a psychopath. She's too narcissistic, too programmed to lie. I wouldn't be surprised if she has now internalized some of her nutty defense story. She will never crack.

according to nancy grace, she also looked up how to break a neck, and how to make weapons from stuff in your home. kind of makes it sound like it was premeditated

Nope,she had been cloraforming the kid for a while...she was out and about when the kid was at "Nannys"...before the death...when she wanted to go out she would knock her out....she didn't have access to "Jackson Juice" so she tried the next best thing..and it almost worked everytime.

It is amazing how much of this case I had forgot. There were so many players that kept adding along the way. At this rate this trial may take forever.

The three pieces of duct tape stuck in Caylee's hair blow that idea out of the water. The tape was attached to the poor child's hair and never meant to be removed. It would have had to be cut out of her hair.(more lies explaining how come Caylee's hair is missing?) She cold-bloodedly murdered that precious child!

Here is my two cents:

George Anthony molested Casey, and Caylee was their daugher.

Casey probably wanted money from George and no doubt hated

There's something very sick and sinister about the amount of media attention and exhibition of this case.

Media newsmen says things like "This case is getting so interesting" "The drama just grows" billitering this tragedy as sort of a movie drama and people eat it up.

The little child is dead and the court and hearings should be dealt with justly; however, the way this case has become a media circus is sick beyond what we can understand and it's nothing more than a sad state of affairs.

What do you guys make of the meter guy? That one is just as strange as the rest of the story. If I remember correctly he found the bag, didn't look inside, called the police saying he found Caylee, they never came, so he called them again another day, still they didn't come, then he kicked the bag and the skull rolled out, finally the police came. I can't figure that one out.
