Anonymous Coward User ID: 1424527 United States 06/11/2011 09:46 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Super healthy gal here in SW-FL...no menopause symptoms after I detoxed...so I'm about as healthy as it gets, except for a class 2 latex allergy. But Fever & Fatigue...you guessed it, has been building up and increasing last 3 months. Now I know some of this may be the weather, but I LOVE hot weather and a good sweat. This is different though - it's an all over clammy like sweat, with itchy dry skin. Along with some other mild symptoms, had a little bit of the woozie-dizzie-unstable stuff but not much. Lost appetite, as well as I tend to worry. Never get sick. I also avoid going outside on C & M class flare days. I wanted to post a topic like this myself - friends and neighbors also have it to varying degrees, and I'm noticing the fire station paramedics are getting far more calls than last year this time! I want to know what's up! Are these suicides, heat issues, or something else? I also noticed the paramedics were excessively busy the week they sprayed the corexit offshore, and that went unreported. I placed several "key" calls including to the Fire Chief. He was the most help, and "off the record" made a virtual admission. (I had met the FC in person on a prior occasion and developed a pleasant rapport with him.) Without going into more detail and to be brief - this is hitting the already ill or impaired elderly very hard. Rrrr, Rrrr, Rrrr there they go again, another call. Contemplating keeping a tally; but it's not my responsibility; it's theirs! All this recorded data our fire stations and paramedics have should be made public. (anonymous stats) Any paramedics care to comment? Tell us what is going on! I WANT THE STATISTICS! THE CDC IS NEGLECTING US. We need an attorney, NOW |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1422295 Canada 06/12/2011 01:24 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I posted this originally, and 3 days ago had all blood tests taken. Waiting results. Nurse practitioner told me several other people are experiencing this and she is concerned about thyroids being affected by the increased radiation in milk, etc. Will post when I have results. Still having these strange hot flashes. |

KBambi User ID: 1393609 United States 06/12/2011 02:13 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The last few weeks my temperature will suddenly flare up from within like a hot flash for about 10 minutes. Going to get hormone levels checked but think I'm too young for menopause. What else might it be? Quoting: MeMyselfNi 1402626Yes yes yes. Having it now actually "We are locked in a battle. GrunSpatzi User ID: 1374980 United States 06/12/2011 03:50 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Wow I could Quote so many of you that last month and like 3 weeks I have been waking up at night covered in sweat. I use a puffy comforter and sheet & live in Southern California with the windows open all night long but I shouldn't be THAT sweaty it's gross. It's what I would expect to happen after a terrible and hard to wake from nightmare. I through off the blankets & when I wake up again I'm freezing & I recover myself. Ps I usually have been whearing pj's so it's not that I'm nekked. Also, it's super cold at night when I go to bed I have to spend a few minuets wriggling around to get warm enough (I think that's pretty normal), night sweats once or twice, then in the morning I'm comfortable but pretty cool again (also normal) but if I'm cool in the morning what causes me to randomly get hot in the night BUT hotspots in the environment. HEY GLP! lets analyze what could be significant about 3 & 6 am? how would that work in different time zones? if people in different places report that it is happening at a specific hour of each individuals time zone? Remember we are all brothers and sisters of this world. Everyone of us wants happiness and doesn't want suffering. We can be running towards the future together, but not if we are holding each other back by fighting & criticizing instead of helping. |

Your hormone levels can be deficient as well.....have them checked andbyour MD. Will probably also run a stress test on you. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 25542916 United Kingdom 10/15/2012 12:31 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yeah. I actually ordered one of those hormone level tests to see if I was hitting menopause early. It came back negative yesterday. Now I'm on to evaluate the next possible cause..I used to hear that parasites caused the body to get a temperature at essentially the same time every day. If I have freaking worms I'm going to scream, radiation almost sounds better. |

This is a little scary guys, the past two days me and my wife have been having this, all of the symptoms you put up, my wife thought it might be hormones and is going to get a hormone test, We were just talking about this this morning!! Yesterday I actually had to tear my clothes off in the car, it felt like I had just taken hot clothes out of the dryer and put them on, like my body radiated heat or something.. chest was all flush, and felt like I was having a day long panic attack or something.. But, it doesn't feel like being sick, almost like being in withdrawal or like I took a drug and had a bad reaction or something on top of all of it... Today I feel it, but not as bad, just super weak, and very shaky, like I have no strength or energy or vigor. It's gotta be radiation, I just can't wait to go to bed and lay down.... |
ladyannie2009 User ID: 24996802 United States 10/15/2012 12:51 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | open question: to those having the hot flashes/night sweats (or your family members).....where do you live? state and closest large city. I'm not having any, but it'd be interesting to see if this is a symptom of radiation and/or environment. It's like the floor drops about a half inch and I'm the only one in the room who feels it! It happens regularly. I've asked here before about this and no one posted anything similar until now.
