Taal Volcano’s (14.0000°N, 120.9833°E) seismic network recorded ten (10) volcanic earthquakes during the past 24 hours. Field measurements conducted on 24 May 2011 at the eastern sector inside the Main Crater Lake showed that the water temperature slightly increased from 32.5°C to 32.8°C, the pH value became more slightly acidic decreasing from 2.83 to 2.67 and the water level increased by 0.04 meter. Results of the ground deformation survey (precise leveling) conducted around the Volcano Island last 26 April - 03 May 2011 showed that the volcano edifice inflated slightly relative to the 05-11 April 2011 survey. Measurement of carbon dioxide (CO2) gas emission rates last 03-04 May 2011 at Taal Main Crater yielded a lower value of 2,057 tonnes per day (t/d) compared with that measured last March 2011 which had a value of 4,750 t/d. However, the obtained value is still higher than the emission rates of 1,875 t/d measured last February 2011.

that's the main crater lake, the small one.

that PH is far too low for fish to survive anyway..

so this MUST be about the big lake.
not good.

I agree, I think it is the big lake too. This snippet says "in a lake near the volcano" [link to www.sfgate.com]
It must be the one surrounding it.
This is the big lake cam ( nightime so you won't see much atm ) [link to www.mycam-asia.tv]
