Tourists will always be able to buy pots here. Whit a bunch of flowers in them, ofcours.

And if they succeed in their plans, there will be a lot of willingly Dutchmen providing you, as a tourist, with pot, weed, hasj, or whatever you like...

their reason is they dont like drug tourism. seems like they are growing in numbers and have politicians on their side.

Bah. Overpriced and over rated anyhow.

Now that Michigan has Medical Cannabis- a small fee to the state of $125.00 and a doctors note gets you into our own Local weed shops which have every strain available in Amsterdam (more or less)but FAR CHEAPER.

I went to Amsterdam years ago (in the late 1990's) and it was a blast but honestly for the price of the trip and the overpriced weed- I could have stayed home and bought myself a Pound of the killer (the gift that keeps on giving). It was just cool to be able to smoke in a "coffee shop" but NOT WORTH IT.

Amsterdam is doing this because they are not getting a ton of Pot tourism from the US anymore now that over half of our states have medical marijuana.

The revenue is better off staying IN COUNTRY as we need it.
