| Anonymous Coward User ID: 1081323  United States05/30/2011 05:29 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I was out back yakking away on the phone when out the blue...literally... a massive swarm of bees filled the air around me. From about 6 feet from the ground to the top of my two-story house, the air was just filled with them almost in an instant. I couldn't even tell where they came from. I got myself inside pretty fast and watched for about another 10 minutes before they all slowly dissipated. I checked the trees....no hives in any of them. I've never seen so many bees at one time....just weird.  |

I was up on a commercial building on the roof. The roof was a white material. I was walking along jotting down notes when I noticed all these little shadows on the surface of the roof. So I look up and there's this humungous swarm right over my head. It was the fastest I ran since I cleared 300 yards in 33.5 seconds my senior year.  ------ |

But then I was quite pre-occupied. :justheard: We were doing inspections on the HVAC units up there so there were a couple of other guys watching me run as fast as I could, wondering to themselves, 'What the hell?' (they obviously couldn't see the bees.) It's good to know I've still got the extra gear I guess, lol. ------ |

Bees don't bother me....well, you know what I mean. It's wasps that seem to bother me. I've been stung 3 times and have 3 scars from them. Which is odd....I didn't realize you could scar from a sting. |
