Wow, OP that is really sad! New Age is not demonic. What a bunch of fearful, fearmongering mistruths those videos are pushing.

We are all sparks of divinity! Regular meditation gets us in contact with our true inner selves.

Back when I was Christian, I would sit around feeling superior to non believers. I'd be glad that one day I'd be scooped up in the rapture, leaving the nonbelievers behind. I would always feel inferior and feel God was judging and punishing me.

What a load of crap. Since working my way out of those beliefs, I've been regularly meditating, realized some of my inner gifts and have been helping people left and right with healing, intuitive readings, etc!! It is so amazing - before all I could do to 'help' people is telling them self-righteously that they were sinners and needed to come to church to be saved. Nowadays, I can give people guidance directly from Spirit that will subtly help them improve their lives.

That interview was right on OP. Thanks for sharing. It was similar to my experience in that I started searching and believing everything other than Jesus and the Bible. Then one day I sincerely asked Him in my heart and since then He's guided me down the right path. Like he said in the interview, the simplicity of Jesus insulted me at first. But then it became so true. It's us as sinners that make our relationship with our Lord complicated.

There is no other authority or belief than Jesus. He is the way, the truth, and the life. He died for our sin to save us. Amen.

Yep but at least I'm up front about it. I don't use that condescending, I'm-going-to-heaven-and-you're-not tone, nor do I feel obligated to tell others what to believe regarding the largest, and most un-answerable question in human history.

Then again, forcing the starving indigenous people of places like Africa to convert to your religion before you offer them food is pretty mean as well. In fact I'd say it's worse.

I have some friends who go down to the food bank every now and then, and they have to LIE and say they're Christians just to get something to eat.
