If it's organized, has leaders, or asks for money, I stay away. And that would include about 97 percent of most 'religions'.

That interview was right on OP. Thanks for sharing. It was similar to my experience in that I started searching and believing everything other than Jesus and the Bible. Then one day I sincerely asked Him in my heart and since then He's guided me down the right path. Like he said in the interview, the simplicity of Jesus insulted me at first. But then it became so true. It's us as sinners that make our relationship with our Lord complicated.

There is no other authority or belief than Jesus. He is the way, the truth, and the life. He died for our sin to save us. Amen.

Yep, the same thing happened to me. I used to be a big time new ager, I meditated, I believed in reincarnation, past life regression, astral travel, spirit guides.......the whole 9 yards. I was even a vegetarian!

I really thought I had "enlightenment" and that christians were just stupid fools. Boy, was I wrong!!!!!

So glad that Jesus pulled me out, and I'm glad He pulled you out too!

Re: The New Age Movement is Dangerous & a Lie!
its funny how unoriginal the an allegorical and metaphorical bible is, ask yourself why religions far more ancient all had the same concept of hell, all of them have fire, the same goes with heaven sky gods heaven in the sky, you would think the god who create a whole universe wouldn't be so linear minded and at least not copy other religions and at least be original. why would a perfect god draw inspiration from imperfect religions to be inspired based on those religions to make a hell and heaven modeled in their past image? I though perfect gods cannot be oxymoronic or self contradicting ?

you unthinking unoriginal linear minded no independent thought fundys are real funny, if you had lived in the ancient past im sure by the laws of those in the past you would have been stoned or killed or burned for the views or things you have done here in the present, by youre own "brothers" and "sisters"

you cant even see how much Paganism,Zoroastrian,Modernism, gnosticism and even politics have shaped what you believe, you are deaf and dumb to you're own history as well. and im sure you wont even validate what ive said which proves you live in denial even though history is a witness you cannot argue with

so good luck arguing with history

I can only speak for myself on this but I can assure you my mind has never been more opened and stimulated than after I asked Jesus in my heart and repented sincerely. I was the robot before thinking Christians were stupid and hypocrites. But now I realize we're imperfect people following a perfect God. He's our only way to salvation and loves us regardless of our failures. And the things He's shows me and things I think about I never would have guessed even existed before.

People mistake this for being smug a lot but it's more happiness knowing He's protecting us and loves us regardless of our past. What's not to be happy about?

But again, I totally get where non-believers are coming from because I used to be like that. So I pray Jesus helps you all find your way back home because I've never been in a more peaceful state in my life. All thanks and glory to Jesus!

For crying out loud, there is nothing New Age about any of what you just mentioned!!

Most of it is ancient ideas with new terminology, and rediscovery, etc!!

Meditation, is the same as prayer and or fasting, and focusing on what you need or want!!

Reincarnation, even the christian Jesus knew this concept was real!!

Past life regression, most children have remembrances of past lives without being regressed!!

Spirit guides = same concept as protecting angels!!

Astral Travel, even your scriptures talk about it!!

2 Corinthians 12:2
2. I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;)

A brief summary would be that satan is parading around as an angel of light, spirit guides and such things and this new age religion is growing at an incredibly alarming rate.

While most people are looking at Islam, the New Age movement is taking hold behind the scenes and it's dangerous stuff full of demonic teachings.

The thing I like about "New Age-ism"

Infants don't spend eternity in hell because they aren't old enough to comprehend what Jesus is.

In the time it took me to write this, a thousand of them died.

Just loving God....????

But I bet you're not so smug about that one are you? However, if it was an adult non-believer, you're probably point and laugh your way up to heaven in typical Christian "we're the best because our complacency is so easy to swallow" manner.

Re: The New Age Movement is Dangerous & a Lie!
Why would one belief system be any less believable than another?
My son used to love for Jehovah's Witnesses to knock on the door. He'd grab his bible and run outside and it turned into a battle of "my book is right and yours is wrong".
Finally he realized that one is as believable--or unbelievable--as the other. He read the KJV cover to cover more than once and studied it for months (and drove us all crazy) and one day realized he just couldn't find a way to justify all the contradictions in a debate and that one religion is no more ridiculous or credible than another and all are more alike than different.

It's everyone's choice and I'm sure the same feelings of confirmation in the hearts of bible-believing Christians are in the hearts of those who believe something else.
I believe something else and I get all the "signs" that I'm right--for me.

Why does it matter which path if the basic principle is love?

Dualism is a curse this fallen Earthly realm has inherited, sought of like an error in space and time. Ancient religions remained metaphorical when talking about "evil" because trying to explain it in our limited vocabulary would be next to impossible. As for transcendence, the cathars (which the Catholics killed off) believed:

"the purpose of man's life on Earth was to transcend matter, perpetually renouncing anything connected with the principle of power and thereby attaining union with the principle of love. According to others, man's purpose was to reclaim or redeem matter, spiritualising and transforming it."

The "New Age" religion is in fact not a religion at all. I infact see it as the anti-religion.

It is a movement. It's a shift towards the awakening of our multidimensional selfs.

The New Age Movement is about believing in oneself, in love, in the Infinite Creator in all of us. We are all direct energy beings derived from the creator soul complex.

You can call him Jesus, Yehushua, God, whatever. It's not the "who", but the "is" that is important.

The more you know...

Re: The New Age Movement is Dangerous & a Lie!
