Last night while I was fixing myself something to eat, I was thinking about the new age followers, and a word popped into my mind, VERY STRONGLY!

That word was Self-Righteous.

At first, I thought.......how odd is that? That's something that I would attribute to Christians, but New Agers? I didn't really understand it.

So, I sat down and googled the words self righteous to do a little more looking.

What I found was a big eye opener for me, and the more I thought about it, the more I could see the truth in that.

New Agers are self-righteous in a sense, because the whole belief system revolves around "SELF". It's all about raising yourself up. But, you see.....when you raise yourself up you're also putting others down, below you.

They are also self-righteous in that they believe that they save themselves, they are divine, and there is no such thing as sin. They are like God themselves, so they are not in need of forgiveness or salvation. They are the very definition of self-righteous. They are "enlightened" and you are not.

This is something I seen in the New Agers for a long time, but I could never really define it or put it into words, but this is what it is.

Now granted, self-righteousness is a HUGE problem among christians, this is true. So, I acknowledge that also, but self righteousness isn't limited to just Christians. The whole New Age teachings are pure unadulterated self-righteousness in it's most concentrated form.

The Roman Catholic Church has alot to answer for, and I will never defend them.

Early christian church was self righeteous they went to war with their own people over religion, Kings would execute any heretic that didn't believe in the empires religion. So learn your european history as it's shoved down many peoples throat.
