Lisa, a deeper look into what certain people within the new age movement believe actually reveals the very same truths that you profess about what is the absolute truth. Jesus is in fact the way, but to not be aware of how he is the way whether you are new age, christian, or whatever, is not representative of what I believe to be the divine plan set about from our heavenly mother and father. Jesus is the lord and savior of our earthly 3rd dimensional existence, and to say that your way of letting jesus into your heart is the only way, is indicative of your inability to accept others means to finding a different path in regards to how they allow him to do just that. I am a "new agie" and I too believe jesus is the way. Jesus DID come to "atone" for our sins, I just like to interpret it as balancing the karmic path for all who live on this planet so that we may be ready for the second coming of christ or as i interpret it, christ consciousness. You seem to anthropomorphize god which seems to lead to your inability to accept others interpretation and relationship with jesus. I will pray that you open your heart to others, and not close off your mind to the possibility that jesus is even greater than you might have possibly imagined yourself!

I am so thankful that I saw this thread tonight. I met Jesus by first accepting and confessing in prayer to Him that I was indeed a sinner in need of a Saviour and invited Him to come and dwell in me and be LORD of me and my life. I had an overwhelming peace settle in - as though the house could've burned around me and I would not have cared to get up out the that peace.

Within hours of that, satan the deceiver came and brought FEAR so strong it made me paralyzed, afraid to even blink or turn my eyes. And then I remembered.....and spoke out loud, Jesus is Lord, JESUS IS LORD. Immediately, the fear and sense of heaviness in the room vanished.

Any time fear tried to come in that form again, I would simply say or whisper or even think the name of Jesus and fear vanished.

Jesus Himself is our Peace. Fear/panic with no logical source, is brought by the enemy of our peace, satan and his minions.

Our war on this earth is not against flesh and blood, but against the prince if evil and his many demonic beings who have dominion over this world EXCEPT for the ones who are called by the LORD and are HIS. His in dwelling presence the SEAL, if you will that we have upon us is that we belong to Him and simply calling upon Him in our minds banishes demonic activity.

I was nearly ensnared by New Age teachings this past year.....I kept asking Jesus and the Holy Spirit to lead me in truth, to keep me from caving to deception...this thread has resonated SHOUTED almost, to my spirit, that I was being deceived. As the bible says, many elect will come so close and even WILL be deceived because they forgot the Jesus they once knew...
