It's possible that it is true. EVERYTHING that he does on that show is possilbe. I do it with people. (sometimes to get girls) It is called mentalism. The most well known truth of this is that when you lie you fidget and have certain other tells. (like i said fidgeting, looking in a certain direction, avoiding eye contact, sweating, general anxiety, etc...)
I do not know that the show is true and I do not endorse it or deny it, BUT I am able to do many of the cheap tricks he does and have done them before. (I use them a lot to help people nearby deal with trauma or distress such as relationship issues or what not.)
Point is that this show is PLAUSIBLY true and real.
