Pretty soon they will just chip us.

What is to prevent the edible RFID tag from "accidently" getting lodged in our bodies and tracking us without our consent? This cannot end well! Or placed in school cafeteria lunches? ("For the children," you know.) On the upside, these are passive tags, so they themselves don't "track" anything. It takes an RFID tag reader to emit energy that the tag receives in order for it to reply. Yes but the question is regarding nanotechnology. Will this simply pass through one's body or can it be "steered" to lodge there as a means to track those who consume it? I don't have a good feeling about ANYTHING they could put in my body without my knowledge. This goes from vaccinations, food and even the chemicals in the air that we breathe! I wouldn't be so skeptical if they hadn't publicly declared they would like to see a large reduction in the population. Statements like that don't instill the most trust for this new technology!
