I posted that earlier as well. They said the signature and the situation are similar to Tuscaloosa and Birmingham ALA. tornado outbreak.

One currently is showing debris on radar and imagine it is currently packing a pretty good punch. These storms are crazy this year.

few buildig leveled in Southbridge....apparently police station is in dire as well

You act like these large storms don't happen all the time during this time. Is it bad? Yes, but I live in Philadelphia and these storms aren't an oddity in Summer.

I'm watching local Boston channel, and they are not saying that this is like the Tuscaloosa tornado..I think TWC is exagurating a bit, to say the least. Just saying...I just got all my plants rakes etc from outside. Praying that they do not come near here at all. They are however reporting lots of telephone poles down, loss of power etc. They haven't got alot of reports coming in yet from the towns the tornados have gone through already, I'm staying glued to the TV, ready to bolt if I have to, I just Pray I don't have to.
My Daughter in Amherst is ok, one touched down in that town but she is ok and didn't see the twister.

Is that why so many hurricanes hit Mexico?

We had at least 4 level 4's and it was so bad they just finally gave up checking them because so many were missing.

Alabama had 300 killed on April 27. We are still in shock and things not back to normal at all.

But we got bumped off the news of the bin Laden assassination and everybody just forgot about all this.

I don't think it will be like Tuscaloosa but I think there will be a lot of injuries resulting from an inexperienced population that either doesn't take them seriously or don't know what to do if one hits.

Fellow Alabamian here, Bluebird. It will be a while before things seem "normal." But I agree with you, between the royal wedding and Bin Laden, we got forgotten.

our church didn't forget ya! We sent truckloads of stuff over there to Rainsville and we are coming again with men to help clear damage and re-build. We love you!!
