KT's are an appendant degree. IE an branch of Blue Lodge, whereas Freemasonry is BLue Lodge and contains 3 degrees, and which a Master Mason is highest.
Now, don't argue with me. Knight Templars are NOT higher than Master Mason.
Put it this way.....were a Knight Templar come to a Blue Lodge meeting, he comes in as a Master Mason, not a Knight Templar.
