No goddamn prayer in public forum. If they wanna pray, then do it aside with select group, but not during or part of ceremony.

End of discussion.

 Quoting: Elsabiades

Wrong. Have you ever actually read the first amendment? We have freedom of religion here. Of... of... not from and if some kid, a coach, teacher, or even a principle wants to lead a prayer at a school function then that is their business and protected right. The first amendment says:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

Saying a simple prayer in public has nothing to do with congress or making law or establishing anything. It is our protected right.
"God forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, & always, well informed... If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty... Let them take arms... What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. " - Thomas Jefferson in 1787

More and more of the "Me First People" popping up in Texas.

I think it's time for Texans to let them know they're not wanted here. I know it's not the Texan Way, but the majority of these transplants don't care about Texas one way or the other. They're just here for the economy and to take jobs from Texans.

It's a fact that after the 10 Commandments were taken down off the school halls, crime statistics showed an increase in crime and all sorts of bad behavior, including bad manners. Education in the schools has dropped to a mere shadow of what it was.

You like the world we are now living in with its hard drugs, sex, and porn occupying the minds of the MINDless? Of course, you can't remember a time when people didn't lock their doors at night, were responsible, walked the streets without fear, and raised their kids to be decent adults.

This story makes me furious beyond words. And it isn't the damnanble treasonous judge who should be removed from the bench, arrested, tried, and imprisoned for hundreds of counts of violations of civil rights, but because the entire community didn't rise up, PRAY, AND THEN HANG THAT SON OF A BITCH THEMSELVES.
 Quoting: Comedian

A big part of the problem today is that decent people have never been educated into the methods available to us for a redress of our grievances. It's been, shall we say, omitted from our curriculum. And it's been made very complicated and expensive over the last 150 years or so.

But educate the common man for a couple of generations into how to operate within the system by himself, and watch how fast the revolution comes.
