If, and thats a big IF, the alignments really do have an effect, thats a whole separate issue. I think its going to pass by harmlessly

I've seen quite a few videos on it already. Here's the original video I saw where the guy uses data from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory of NASA.

Anyone can repeat baseless claims made by many before them. Why not give us a little solid proof, and then we will be willing to argue. Until then, you can just keep on making this factless claim (every time it makes an alignment with the earth & sun, there is a very large earthquake) and we will just keep on laughing at you. The only difference come October is that we will just be laughing harder, and you will have latched on to some new celestial body as the end of days.

I just gave you a youtube video where the guy is using data from NASA, your holy grail. If you not trusting info from NASA, then who will you trust? There's no disputing the dates that the earthquakes took place. You sound alot like a troll I once knew.

No, not some java applet where virtually ANYTHING will look like a straight line. What we want are some orbit parameters for Elenin & Solar System bodies.

Actually, don't bother. The numbers (AND visual observations/astrophotography) were made & posted in a thread here on GLP rececntly showing Elenin NOT interacting with a small asteroid.

It really is just a comet ok? Not even a very interesting comet at that. I'll be glad when the stupid damn rock is on it's way back out of the Solar System.

Astronomical alignments as the cause of ~M6+ seismicity

Abstract: I here demonstrate empirically my georesonator concept in which tidally induced magnification of Earth masses' resonance causes seismicity. To that end, I show that all strong (~M6+) earthquakes of 2010 occurred during the Earth's long (t>3 day) astronomical alignments within our solar system. I then show that the same holds true for all very strong (~M8+) earthquakes of the decade of 2000s. Finally, the strongest (M8.6+) earthquakes of the past century are shown to have occurred during the Earth's multiple long alignments, whereas half of the high-strongest (M9+) ones occurred during the Full Moon. I used the comet C/2010 X1 (Elenin), as it has been adding to robustness in terms of very strong seismicity since 2007 (in terms of strongest seismicity: since 1965). The Elenin will continue intensifying the Earth's very strong seismicity until August-October, 2011. Approximate forecast of earthquakes based on my discoveries is feasible. This demonstration proves my hyperresonator concept, arrived at earlier as a mathematical-physical solution to the most general extension of the georesonator concept possible.
