Me too. Venus is supposedly out there in the morning as part of that line up is mercury and venus. this looks strange to me. Interestingly I was up about 4:45 a couple days ago, and Star ship Jupiter should have been (I just now checked) quite high almost due east and it was nowhere to be seen. I just figured I was up too early but it seemed odd, so I just now checked my star program.

but the strangest thing is that mars is going in the opposite direction.

well obviously it seems related to that biggy flare CME that I just discovered from coming to this thread. same time frame. Did we have a biggy CME not long before the Japan quake? I know that we had the high proton flux like now. I am sick to my stomach and not feeling so hot from these energies. I had gone back to bed for a bit and then came back here and saw this thread.

I'm assuming that the directions are all relative to the motion of earth.....some go faster and others slower.
I also assume "messanger" is the name of sattelite.
Wish we had an experienced astronomer on this thread!

this chart is earth relative, if earth not moving then every objet slower than earth apears to go back..

They have mars going the wrong way, I watched it carefully, and earth isn't even moving at all in it. It should be moving, and not still, for the image to be effective as to the direction of that blast.
