Actually, this does not reflect truth. We do import that amount but we export refined products (such as jet fuel, kerosine, etc.) to other countries. Of course, you never hear about those numbers

awesome , a months supply of oil for the US, that should offset the fact saudi arabia can't increase production, OPEC are bickering and china and other emerging economies need more and more oil every month just to stop their economies stagnating and collapsing.
